What are cookies?

Which cookies do we use?

We ourselves only set one functional cookie: NEXT_LOCALE remembers whether you view the site in Dutch or English. It contains no personal data and does not track you. Our website places no tracking, marketing, or analytics cookies, and no cookie banner is required. Only on the contact page does a third party (Calendly) load its calendar, see below.

To understand how our website is used, we rely on Vercel Web Analytics. This is a cookieless analytics method: it sets no cookies, builds no visitor profiles, and collects no personal data. The statistics are fully aggregated and anonymous.

Your light/dark mode preference is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This is not a cookie and is not shared with us or with any third party.

Third-party services

Our website integrates third-party services that may place cookies or use similar technologies:

• Calendly: Appointment scheduling on the contact page. On that page the Calendly calendar loads as soon as you open the page, even if you book nothing. Calendly then sees your IP address and may set a technically necessary cookie (__cf_bm, from Cloudflare, for protection against bots). When you actually schedule a meeting, Calendly may use its own cookies; see Calendly's privacy policy for that.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are applied in accordance with GDPR requirements.

Retention periods vary per provider. Please consult the privacy policies of the respective services for more information.

Managing your preferences

Because we only set a functional cookie for your language choice, no consent is required. If you wish to clear that cookie and any locally stored data (such as your theme preference), you can do so at any time through your browser settings.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have rights regarding the processing of your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data.
