Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6-10-2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Nex Automation. We value your privacy and are committed to handling personal data with care and transparency. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit our website or use our services.
Nex Automation is the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this policy.
2. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect and process the following personal data:
- Contact details (such as name, email address, phone number)
- Company information (if applicable)
- Technical data (such as IP address, browser type, device information)
- Usage data (information about how our website is used)
- Marketing preferences (if provided)
We only collect data that is necessary for providing our services and operating our website.
3. How we use your data
We use personal data for the following purposes:
- To provide and deliver our services, including AI automations, workflows, and systems
- To communicate about projects, services, and automation opportunities
- To improve our website, services, and user experience
- For marketing and follow-up communications, only where consent has been given
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations
4. Legal bases for processing
We process personal data only when there is a valid legal basis under the GDPR, including:
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual request
- Consent (for example, for marketing communications)
- Legitimate interests (such as improving our services and operations)
- Compliance with legal obligations
5. Data sharing and third parties
We work with carefully selected technical service providers (processors) that support our hosting, AI processing, and communications. We have data processing agreements in place with these parties where required.
In some cases, data processing may take place outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
6. Cookies
We ourselves only set one functional cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that remembers your language choice. Our website places no tracking, marketing, or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner and no consent is required. On the contact page the Calendly calendar loads. As soon as you open that page, Calendly sees your IP address and may set a technically necessary cookie (__cf_bm, from Cloudflare, for protection against bots).
For visitor statistics we use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics method that processes fully aggregated, anonymous data and does not track individual visitors. Your theme preference is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is not shared with any third party. More details can be found in our Cookie Policy.
7. Data retention
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
- Contact details are retained while there is an active client relationship or relevant interest
- Data required by law is retained in accordance with applicable legal retention periods
8. Your rights
You remain in control of your personal data. Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we process about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data when it is no longer required
- Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
- Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Object to the processing of your personal data
To exercise any of these rights, you may contact us using the contact details below. We will respond as promptly as possible and within the time limits set by applicable law.
If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. These measures include secure connections (such as SSL/TLS), access controls, and careful selection of technical partners.
